America is at a defining moment in its history: Some say we are poised to achieve something greater than ever before, while others believe that we are peering over the cliff facing seemingly insurmountable problems that must be addressed now. What is clear is that we are a nation divided – and divided we will fail.

This is not your typical political blog. If you have come looking to spout the type of vitriol and partisan mud that pervades American politics these days, you have come to the wrong place. If you are looking for the latest talking points blaming the other side or to learn more about the newest wedge issue, you have also come to the wrong place. Playing gotcha and tit-for-tat politics has done our nation a disservice and put us where we are today.
